Installation & Setup

Installation takes 3 simple steps:
  1. Open your app (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  2. Go to Extensions → Get Add-ons
  3. Search for “CoreGPT” and click Install

Some organizations require admin approval for third-party apps. Contact your IT department to approve CoreGPT Apps. Once approved, you can install it normally.
CoreGPT needs permission to access your documents. Click Grant permissions and allow access to:
  • Read and modify your documents
  • Display content in sidebars/panels
This is required for the app to work properly.

  2. Sign out and sign back in
  3. Clear your browser cache
  4. Try a different browser

Features & Usage

Basic steps:
  1. Select text or content you want help with
  2. Open CoreGPT (Extensions → CoreGPT → Launch GPT)
  3. Choose an action (Rewrite, Summarize, Translate, etc.)
  4. Click Generate
  5. Review the result and insert if you like it

CoreGPT can:

CoreGPT cannot:
  • ❌ Access external websites or links
  • ❌ Modify files outside your current document
  • ❌ Access your email history (except current thread in Outlook)

  • ❌ Access files you don’t have permission to edit
Most results appear in 5-10 seconds. Complex requests may take a bit longer. If it takes more than 30 seconds, try refreshing and trying again.
Yes! Click Regenerate to get different options. You can regenerate as many times as you want to find the result you like best.
Use Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo. CoreGPT results aren’t automatically inserted — you control what gets added to your document.

Yes. Your data is completely safe:
  • We never store your documents or content
  • All processing is encrypted
  • Your data stays in your account
  • We don’t use your content to train models
No. We never store your documents, emails, spreadsheets, or any of your content. All processing happens in real-time and nothing is saved.
In Outlook, CoreGPT can only see the current email thread you’re working with. It cannot access your full email history or other conversations.

Yes. CoreGPT complies with GDPR and other data protection regulations. Your data is protected and never shared with third parties.

You can upgrade directly from the CoreGPT sidebar in your app. Click Upgrade and choose your plan. You’ll have access to premium features immediately.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings. You’ll have access until the end of your billing period.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal.

You can update your billing information in your account settings. Click your profile → Billing → Update payment method.

  • Instead of “Make it better,” try “Rewrite in a professional tone”
  • Instead of “Summarize,” try “Summarize in 2-3 sentences”
  • Provide more context about what you want
Common errors and solutions:
  • “Permission denied”: Grant CoreGPT permission to access your document
  • “Network error”: Check your internet connection
  • “Quota exceeded”: You’ve reached your usage limit for the month
